Employee Lunch Event

D. Maldari & Sons has created an “Employee Lunch Event”. We will be getting together at a long table once a month to sit and talk about what has been going on all month. At the lunch employees can share their experiences, opinions and suggestions with each other and management. Employees from every area of the company will be participating in these lunches. After the lunch we will be announcing the employee of the month. The employee of the month receives a $150.00 American Express gift check and will pick the menu for the next month’s lunch. The first company lunch was held on Tuesday July 28^th.

June Employee of the Month

The employee of the month for June was Mario Rizzotto. Mario received the honor in November of 2009 as well. Mario has shown a focus on not just getting his work done but on improving procedures and efficiency. He has made several suggestions over the month of June on things that we can change to improve our processes. Mario has a positive attitude and is a pleasure to be around.

May Employee of the Month

The employee of the month for May 2010 was Tersilio Casasola. Tersilio has been working at D. Maldari & Sons since 1988. Tersilio is an experienced machinist who performs many different jobs. He earned the employee of the month award with his calm and focused attitude. His work in the month of May was steady and diligent. He chose Italian specialties for the June lunch.

April Employee of the Month

The employee of the month for April was Vincenzo Caviglia. Vincenzo won the honor in December of 2009. He is the 2nd two time winner. Vincenzo continues to show dedication towards his work as well as a nice attitude. He is pleasant to be around and will always take a second to say hello during the day. Vincenzo makes sure that the CNC machines keep running in an efficient manner. He already knows that he wants “Joe’s of Avenue U” for lunch in May, “Italian delicacies”.

March Employee of the Month

WILBERTO VEGA (Willie) is the employee of the month for March, 2010. Willie started working for D. Maldari & Sons in December, 2009. Willie’s main responsibility is Lathe work. Willie has been busy in March turning a record number of die supports. His work has been accurate and efficient. We look forward to working with Willie for many years to come.

February Employee of the Month

Adam Interrante, co-winner of the January employee of the month, stepped up to win the honor by himself for February. Adam continued his hard work in February in addition to figuring out more efficient ways to manufacture products. Adam’s mindfulness and continued cheerful attitude won him the award.

Adam is currently out on a medical leave and we hope he returns soon. The food for the February lunch was Middle Eastern.

January Employee(s) of the Month

The employee of the month for January was a tie. The honor was shared between Adam Interrante and Vladislav Moshkov. Both of these employees had an excellent month of production. Adam is responsible for running CNC equipment. Adam’s work is very thorough and is performed with a pleasant attitude. Vladislav is a lathe operator as well as a benchworker. Vlad is in his 17th year with D. Maldari & Sons. He is a very consistent and reliable employee.

For our January lunch Vincenzo Caviglia chose Joe’s of avenue U, famous for Italian specialties. The food was enjoyed by all. Check back next month to see our February lunch.

December Employee of the Month

The employee of the month for December was Vincenzo Caviglia. Vincenzo has been with D. Maldari & Sons since June of 1987. Vincenzo is like one of the family. He is responsible for running CNC equipment. He earned this honor in December with his diligent work ethic and attention to detail. His attitude towards his work and peers is excellent. We look forward to see what he will choose for our January lunch.

November Employee of the Month

The employee of the month for November was Mario Rizzotto. Mario started working with us in November 2008. In the first year of his employment Mario has displayed a desire to learn and has proven to be a productive and focused employee. We look forward to working with Mario for many years to come. Mario has chosen Italian food for the December lunch which will be combined with our New Years celebration.

October Employee of the Month

The employee of the month for October was Tony Marzella. Tony has been with Maldari for over 30 years. Tony had a great month. His work in October was productive and impeccable. Tony has chosen Italian food for the November lunch.

September Employee of the Month

Nancy is the office manager. Nancy began working for the Company in January of 2009 and quickly set a standard of excellence for the day to day running of the office. Nancy has picked Italian specialties for the October lunch.

August Employee of the Month

Elliot Vigo won employee of the month for August 2009. Elliot has been working for D. Maldari & Sons since April of 1998. Elliot’s perfect attendance and punctuality along with a productive month earned him the award. Elliot picked “Deli” for September’s lunch.

July Employee of the Month

The employee of the month for July was Matt Santana. Matt started working for Maldari in June of 2008 and quickly earned the Employee of the Month award through good work ethics along with an excellent attitude. Matt picked a Spanish menu for the August lunch.
